Do I need to provide a credit card to sign up for a free trial?

Yes, the free trial gives you access to all of the features available with our Enterprise tier.
What happens if I go over the daily volume limit specified in my plan?
The Pro and Enterprise tiers of service provide Peak Overage Protection (POP), which ensures that your data will be captured even if you exceed your subscription level. Pro customers may exceed their subscription by up to 100% (or 50GB, whichever is less) on any three days in a month (alternative rules can be set if agreed with us in advance). If the subscription level is exceeded more than three days in any month, data beyond the subscription level will not be indexed or retained until the account is upgraded to a subscription level that would not have resulted in capping. What if I don’t know my daily log volume?
The Account Overview page in the Loggly application displays real-time metrics on your daily log volume. You can use these, along with an estimate of the percentage of logs that you have sent us, to determine what subscription level will work best.
Does Loggly offer annual subscription plans?
Yes. Loggly’s annual plans provide a discount in return for a prepayment of fees for the year. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Can I change plans at any time?
You may change tiers or subscription levels at any time. All subscriptions are prepaid for the month, so any increases will be prorated for the remaining days in the month. You can make changes from your Account page or contact the Loggly sales team to help you find the right plan for your needs.
Is credit card the only billing option?
For month-to-month plans, Loggly offers credit card billing only. For annual prepaid plans, we can provide for alternative forms of payment.
Does the free trial have any volume limits?
No, there are no daily volume or data storage limits on the free trial. During the trial you will see your full data volume and size a plan to meet your business needs.
What is the process for getting started?
Getting started with Loggly is easy. Signup takes less than 60 seconds, and your account is immediately provisioned and ready for logs. Your full-featured trial provides 30 days of unlimited data volume, and during this time you can select a plan to meet your needs. At the end of your trial, your account will convert to the Lite package, which offers basic log management functionality free of charge.
