How to Equip Your DevOps Team to Deliver a Great Customer Experience

By Karen Sowa 26 May 2015

I love hearing how Loggly customers use our products, so I’m really excited about a webinar we’re hosting tomorrow featuring two of our customers, Voicebase and Zumba. This session, co-hosted with New Relic and PagerDuty, will give you a peek into two real-life DevOps toolkits.

Most of the buzz in the DevOps movement is about everything that happens before code is released, but Loggly, New Relic, and PagerDuty all believe that the DevOps mindset is just as relevant (maybe even more so!) once your code goes into production. Cloud-based services are complex, so it’s not a matter of if you’ll encounter issues, it’s when. DevOps is about having a collaborative culture that can jump into action and find solutions fast.

Douglas Jarquin is the director of DevOps at Zumba, a global lifestyle brand that fuses fitness, entertainment, and culture into an exhilarating dance-party workout. Jarquin’s team is responsible for a number of web properties that Zumba operates.

Voicebase provides cloud-scale APIs for speech recognition, speech analytics, and predictive analytics, powered by the world’s most accurate speech engine. Jeff Shukis, vice president of engineering and tech ops, is responsible for development and technical operations at the company, which processes millions of recordings monthly.

Jarquin and Shukis will be talking about how they use Loggly, New Relic, PagerDuty, and other solutions to manage issues, optimize performance, and run their services better. They’ll be discussing the impact of their DevOps toolkit and processes on their businesses.

I hope you’ll be able to join me there! If you can’t make it to the live session, you can follow along on Twitter as I live tweet insightful nuggets and key takeaways. Also, we’ll be making a replay available to everyone who registers. Here are the details:
